Separated by firm
Every table is scoped to a firm and protected by database row-level security, so one firm can never read another’s data.
Role-based access
Principal, admin, adviser, case manager, compliance and read-only roles. Clients reach their own cases only, through the portal.
Private document storage
Files are kept in private storage, separated by firm and served only to signed-in users with access.
Encrypted in transit
All connections to the app, the client portal and the API use TLS.
Append-only audit log
Database triggers record every insert, update and deletion, with before and after values for changed fields.
Controlled AI
AI features send only what the task needs. Every AI call is logged, and AI output is a draft until a person approves it.
Nightly backups
The database and stored files are backed up every night.

Is client data used to train AI models?
No. AI features send only the information needed for the task, and Legisure uses model providers that do not train on customer data submitted through their business APIs.
Can we see who changed what?
Yes. The audit log records every change, including who made it, when, and which fields changed.
